The Causes of Wellness


The World Health Organization defines Health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

In healthcare, a heavy emphasis is placed on the diagnosis and treatment of disease. These are absolutely necessary things, but what about prevention? What about initiatives to focus truly on health and wellness? They’re on the rise, but we are far from a health-focused healthcare system.

How can you live a healthy, intentional life?

3. Whole-food diet and supplements.


4. Moving the body-regular physical exercise.


5. Adequate rest both physically and mentally.

Adopting these principles is easier than you might expect! Devote one day of the week to each of these principles (two for #4!) and the pieces should fall into place with much greater ease.
