Meet the Atlanta Natural Health Team

Jenny Hurd has a background in traditional, as well as alternative, healthcare. She received her Master's degree in Nursing from Emory University in 1980 and worked as a nurse-midwife in the Atlanta area for 14 years, both in public and private practice. Long interested in a holistic approach to health, a view she shares with her husband, Dr. Hurd, over the years she has taken courses in polarity therapy and Reiki, as well as workshops with Donna Eden in Energy Medicine. Along with Dr. Hurd, she is certified in Dr. John Brimhall's approach to holistic healthcare. Through her personal experience and her observations of family and clients, she in convinced of the effects of chiropractic care and the positive impact it has on one's health and well-being.

Lisa Engle began working at Atlanta Natural Health Clinic in July, 1989. She has worked with Dr. Hurd to create the best chiropractic experience possible for her patients. Her primary focus at the clinic is to educate and empower her patients to know and realize their potential. She was selected as the Chiropractic Assistant of the Year by the Georgia Council of Chiropractic in September, 1999. She has shared her expertise by teaching classes for a variety of chiropractic organizations throughout the country. One of her most significant chiropractic experiences was to attend the centennial event in Davenport, IA, the birthplace of chiropractic. Lisa is married, has five “well adjusted” children and one granddaughter. She commonly refers to her patients at ANHC as the best in the city and is proud to be a part of the chiropractic profession.

Philip Hurd Jr. is a great addition to the Atlanta Natural Health Clinic staff. He has been learning about the healing arts for quite some time having grown up in the Hurd home. He is well versed and knowledgeable in the tools and procedures utilized by ANHC, such as the BAX 3000, Erchonia's PL-5 Laser, EB-Pro energy balancing system, and the VP-II Percussor. Additionally he has extensive background knowledge in the variety of products we carry, especially the supplements for Nutrition Response Therapy.

Gabriela Cueto began working at Atlanta Natural Health Clinic in February, 2011. Her primary focus at the clinic is to support patients through care after sustaining injuries from a car accident, slip, fall, or work related injury. She has a commitment to make sure patients know the potential of an adjustment beyond treatment of injuries after an accident, sharing with them knowledge of inner resources and a gravitation toward health and healing. Her first exposure to chiropractic came after a car accident. She was comforted by how chiropractic facilitates the body’s healing and enjoys the resources at the office as part of her lifestyle. Gabriela has one son who she is raising to understand his health and healing from inside. She is proud to be a part of the ANHC team.

Judy Delk joined the team at ANHC in December, 2010. You'll find Judy at the front desk supporting the patients with check in and out procedures, scheduling, answering the phone, and helping to keep things organized. She has served the chiropractic profession as an Assistant in several offices over the years.
Judy has been a chiropractic patient for more than 20 years and gets great satisfaction working in a profession where she can support people in their quest for health. Originally from Tennessee, she relocated to call Atlanta home in 2007. She has three adult children and in her off time enjoys traveling, dining with friends and family, interior decorating, handbag design or simply watching a good movie.
